É¡nna Ní Œamhna, the well-known botanist, writer and radio personality and recent past-President of An Taisce, she is, perhaps, best known for her work on RTE?s ?Mooney goes Wild?. É¡nna is widely regarded as an entertaining and informative speaker and has a special talent of bringing her subject to life, sharing her knowledge of wildlife and the environment in a fun and informative way. According to É¡nna, these are places that she would bring any visitor to Louth to see because they reflect her own interests and knowledge of the county. Monasterboice is currently being considered for addition to Ireland's Tentative List of World Heritage Sites. A public consultation exercise will be held shortly on the Conservation Study for the site.
