Draft Conservation and Management Plan for the Walled Town of Ardee

A Draft Conservation and Management Plan for the Walled Town of Ardee (a national monument) has been produced by consultants working for a partnership of Ardee Town Council, Louth County Council, the Irish Walled Towns' Network and the Heritage Council.
The elected members of Ardee Town Council approved the public display of the draft plan at their July (2010) monthly meeting. This plan is now available for public consultation until the end of September 2010.

It is available at several venues around Ardee and elsewhere in County Louth and can also be downloaded from this website (see 'Publications'). If you have an interest in Ardee, its heritage and its future, please examine the draft plan and take the time to let the local authorities know what you think of its proposals, whether you are in favour of them or not.

Written observations should be submitted to: The Heritage Officer, Louth County Council, County Hall, Dundalk, County Louth, to arrive no later than 4:30 pm on Thursday, 30th September 2010.
